Community Center

The Town of Sylvan Springs has a Community Center that is available for rent, and the calendar shows events that are already booked at the Center. Please review the calendar to see if a date you are interested in reserving the Community Center for is available. There are also several ball fields adjoining the Community Center that are available to rent. If you wish to rent the Community Center, or the ball fields please contact Town Hall at (205) 491-3210 for additional assistance.

SENIOR CENTER

The Center is a place that Senior Citizens (60 years and older) come together each day to fellowship with each other over a cup of coffee, a cookie and a friendly game or two. The seniors’ play multiple kinds of card games, scrabble, dominoes, work puzzles and use the fully equipped exercise room or just converse and laugh. We offer a structured exercise class each Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00 a.m.

Our Center offers different things to many people but we all share the basic need to have friends and to be with others that understand who we are and where we are in life. So if you are “Out There” and would like to come give us a try, just drop in and stay awhile.
